Prevent Gaming Wrist Pain While Playing (and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)
The problem with gaming mouse is that they aren't design to be ergonomic. Your mouse doesn't fit into your hand at all and yet you're still playing with it, not realizing the damage you're doing to yourself. The image below shows you the impact of a poor mouse grip on your wrist.
Another posture problem: the arm position. Like me, many players are "wrist aimer". I didn't use my whole arm for aiming and that combined with my all-day work with keyboard and mouse almost destroyed my wrist. In addition to having the wrist in a bad posture, playing can make you nervous or stress. This situation causes a hand-crispasion and increase the pain.
The solution is to play with an ergonomic gaming mouse that has been designed for long gaming sessions or change your habits to adopt good posture.
2- OneTape, pre-cut strips enterly dedicted to the practice of esport.
This is how we got the idea to design OneTape. Strips are already used by elite sports and esports players throughout the world to treat injuries and improve performances. We worked with physiotherapists to conceive our own strips, OneTape. These professional strips are now available for you.
Wrist strips are used to relieve pain in muscles, joints, and ligaments. They reduce swelling, increase mobility and accelerate recovery. Enhanced blood circulation improves delivery of oxygen and nutrients to overused or fatigued muscles, helping to prevent spasms and cramps.
The purpose of the tape is to pull open the carpal tunnel and ease the pressure on your median nerve. As such you should still be able to fully move your hand and gaming wrist once the tape is on.
